Storage Locations
These are common storage locations for saves and profiles for Dead Island games.

| <user> | Your platform-specific account name or ID. |
| <app/title ID> | The game's application or title ID. Every game has a unique ID. |
You should see files named save_<number>.sav (Dead Island) and/or save_<number>.sar (Riptide). Those are your saves, and there is one per character. There may be one extra (old) copy so make sure to pick the right one.
PC (Steam)
If Steam was installed at the default location, saves should be here:
%ProgramFiles(x86)%\Steam\userdata\<user>\<app ID>\remote\out\save
Similarly, the profile should be here:
%ProgramFiles(x86)%\Steam\userdata\<user>\<app ID>\remote\out\profiles
Xbox 360
These paths are for saves stored on a USB drive.

The following path is for jailbroken consoles and assumes that you have access to it through FTP.
